To put your message in the chat for everybody to see, make sure you are in the "World Chat" tab, to the right of the "Area Chat" tabs, on the left top of chat screen.

Click in the long area to the bottom of the screen, type your message, and then hit the "Return" key, or the "Send" button.

The message you just sent will disappear from the send window.

If you want to see a part of the chat that has gone by, hit the "Pause Chat" button, to the right side of the chat, and then you can scroll the chat down.

To resume the normal chat auto update, hit the "Pause Chat" again.

Note: you can talk in the chat, while you are in battle

Try to avoid using all CAPITAL LETTERS IN THE CHAT.

Don't use foul language in the chat, keep the chat respectful, and remember there are people of all ages playing this game.

People who come in just to see how much foul language they can use in the chat, will be deleted from the game.
